The Lay Community of St Benedict has a strong network of groups which meet regionally two or three times a year for a day or weekend. It is developing a network of smaller local groups which meet every two to four weeks for a few hours. Local and regional groups meet for prayer, study and reflection and for the mutual support of their members on their life journeys. Being a member of a group is a great privilege and offers a very special opportunity for members to deepen their Benedictine spirituality. Each group has the freedom to develop its own identity and way of being community depending upon the interests, gifts and circumstances of its members.
