August

2nd - 10th Taize.   The trip will be led by Rachel-Emily Davies and Kit Rodger, who are both CRB checked. The cost for the travel is £98 if you are under 25, and £118 if you are 25 or over.  Deadline for booking is Thursday 21st June.

5th Wolverhampton Meeting

11th - 15th God’s People, God’s Prophets (a scripture week) Worth Abbey

2nd Wolverhampton Meeting

12th Quiet Day led by Sr Theresa Kennedy. Come and enjoy a day in the peaceful surrounding of Ammerdown. Times from 10 am until 4pm.

15th-19th Sisters of Dust, Sisters of Spirit (Feminine Wordings on God and Creation) led by Maureen Eastman who will be drawing from the whole Judeo-Christian tradition they have recovered the tremendous insights of deeply spiritual women down through the ages. Such as the Desert Mothers, Julian of Norwich and many others from the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures.

13th - 26th LCBS in the Holy Land

24th Quiet Day led by Sr Theresa Kennedy. Come and enjoy a day in the peaceful surrounding of Ammerdown. Times from 10 am until 4pm.

20th-24th Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice led by Hazel Jones – Come and find out more about Mr Darcy Jane Austen’s most smouldering hero and Elizabeth Bennett her liveliest heroine.
 
20th-24th ‘Grey Hair is A Crown of Splendour’ led by Maureen Eastman – A Guided Reflection to Touch and Befriend the Wisdom of Ageing.
 
November

4th Wolverhampton Meeting

7th - 9th  Mosaic Workshop led by local Kate Rattray. This workshop is new to Ammerdown. Explore the art of making mosaics. The weekend will introduce you to this lively traditional and contemporary art form. Beginning with a presentation of contemporary mosaics, and a short history of mosaics, your tutor will help you make your own mosaic (about A4 size) to take home with you.
