As Lay Benedictines, we need to reflect on how the Rule of Saint Benedict, written in and for a different culture, applies to our varied lives.

On the Daily Readings page, you will find readings from the Rule of Saint Benedict for this week. There is also a short comment or question related to each reading. These are not designed to provide commentary, merely to provoke reflection. Members of the Lay Community of Saint Benedict may choose to receive a longer daily commentary related to these same readings.

On the Study Sheets you will find references to help in more detailed study of sections of the Rule, either alone or as part of a group.

There are also many resources listed on the Links and Spiritual Resources pages.

However you choose to reflect on the Rule, please share your insights with us as we build our community.
