Social awareness and action

(c) Eleanor Agius 2005

Welcome to the Lay Community of St. Benedict social awareness and action section.

This section will contain a feature article written by a member or friend of the Lay Community involved in care or campaigning work for the poor and disadvantaged in our world. If you are interested in supporting this work by prayer, monetary donation or your own involvement please email contact@laybenedictines.org and we will put you in touch with the article author and their partners in this work.

Previous feature articles can be accessed via the links on the left-hand side of the screen.

This section also contains pages on the Campaign for Trade Justice and links to other organisations with which members of the LCSB are actively involved.

A new feature article will be appearing here shortly.

Please note that although the Lay Community of St. Benedict welcomes its members' involvement in a wide range of justice & peace and social action campaigns, appearance of information about these campaigns on the LCSB web site does not necessarily imply official suport for that campaign or organisation by the Lay Community of St. Benedict. We hope that readers will take the opportunity to follow up the information provided here and make their own informed decisions about such campaigns or organisations.
